Mustang

Well today is kind of a drag. Little background on this past weekend. I left my car at my girlfriends house and we took hers to catch a movie. While we were gone a girl hit my car that was parked on the side of the road. It didnt look too damaged but my dad still didnt want me to drive it back to our house. The back driverside bumper is damaged and the mechanism that holds up the muffler is broken. Well i just talked to my mom who got in contact with the insurance agency and was told that we have two options. One being scrap the car and theyll give me around 2200 dollars or keep the car and theyll give me 1800. Right now i guess they are just trying to decide if the car is even worth it and get me a new one. Which would be fine and all but ive had the mustang since i was 16 sentimental value and all. I mean it doesnt even look to be that bad for the damages to be 18oo dollars. oh well i suppose my mom is going to contact our family mechanic and see if hell do it for less but i shouldnt hold my breath.
